Based in London, UK, we started The Living Statue Company in 2008 after years of practising as Covent Garden street performers. The idea was to create astonishing new Human Statue characters to appear at corporate events, festivals and shopping centres. We wanted to invent amazing characters that do much more than just stand still.
Aiming for perfection with hyper-realistic costumes we also wanted to push what can be achieved physically - to challenge the common perception of Living Statue performance. Our statues are total characters; using well rehearsed mime, dance and improvisational skills they interact with their audience environment to enchant, surprise and entertain.
Throughout 2009 our characters were used to promote and entertain dozens of leading brands and companies including: The Conservative Party (Annual Ball), 20th Century Fox (Night at the Museum 2 Promotions), Istanbul Biennial (Launch Party in Istanbul), Etisalat (Week-long trade show in Dubai), Music Publishers Association (Christmas Ball Park Lane Hilton), Ernst & Young (Summer Ball), Medico (Annual Ball), Aston Villa (Away kit launch), The Law Society (Fundraising charity event), Royal Sun Alliance (Annual Ball), T-Mobile with Carphone Warehouse (Google Phone launch, National Roadshow) and Philips (week-long exhibition Earl's Court) as well as appearances at many private parties and events.
We have an active workshop able to custom make new characters on demand and with a portfolio of stunning costumes and makeup designs you can be assured we meet and exceed expectations.

Living Topiary - One of our newest and most unique living statues. The Living Topiary are hilarious characters straight from the pages of a comic book or fairy tale. Looking exactly like real topiary they stand perfectly still - but if the audience come too close, they become part of the entertainment! We have two Living Topiary characters available for hire, They are great at causing a stir and are perfect as both static or roaming entertainment.
Bronze Doctor - A stunning bronze living statue representing an English doctor from the early 20th Century. The Bronze Doctor bursts into life to amuse and entertain his audience, checking pulses with his trusted stethoscope.
The Tennis Player - A dynamic living statue representing a tennis player from the 1930s. With a swing of his racket this statue can cause even the bravest audience to jump with laughter.
